Life With CES

LIFE WITH CES

Pain and poverty is part of life
Every day was a new journey for us
Full of adventure, full of discovery,
We kept our thoughts raised high,
For we could not manage to despair our hope

Arriving there was what we were destined for,
Not hurrying the journey at all
Keeping a standard pace not to fall,
For it is better if it lasts for years,
So we are old when we reach there,
Wealthy with all we have gained on the way

CES gave as a marvellous journey,
Without her we would not have set out
And if we find CES poor
It won’t have fooled us
Wise as we would have become
So full of experience to understand
What it really meant by CES in our lives

Hope the voyage is a long one
May there be summer morning when
With what pleasure, what joy
All along from the CES foundation
We come into a habour seen for the first time
To rejoice for what CES has done

Until we rise like eagles
To be witnesses of who you are
Showing your excellence to our country
Through projects and initiatives
Intended to change the poor Kenyan culture
A proof to support vision 2030

Many are the CES graduates
A stream of joy flows in their hearts
Little they knew about education
But now they shine like stars
Having excelled in their secondary courses
Ready to join higher institutions

Under the umbrella of CES
Witness CES Graduate Alumni Group
Led by our patron Pendo Lugalia
Together with Benson Wafula and Musli Wetende
Higher we all rise again
A symbol of love and unity
To care for a few that have lost hope

Giving out the little we have
Subject to facilitate our own projects
Meant to keep the alumni group alive
And later form a care unit for the rest
Whose future has remained to be dreams

Thanks be to the CES volunteers
Who have managed to bring us this year
Your love and passion I feel
Pain and poverty are now gone
For you have made an impact in our lives
To create hope that will never fail

On behalf of my dear collegues
Having seen furthest ends
I lack the words of expression
To show our gratitude in your presence
For your care no one has ever seen
And your love no one has ever felt
